Helplostpet.com was started
in 2008 as a way to help pet owners recover lost pets
via the web.
I was a dog walker working in MD, DC and VA part time
for Tails of the City. Upon my many walks with pets
in the DMV area, I would see alot of lost pet signs
on telephone poles. I thought there must be a better
way to reunite lost and founds pets?
I also read a story of from the Washington Post about
a stolen bicycle registry website started by local guy
from Washington DC.
I viewed his site and thought about doing the same thing
but for lost and found pets. I reviewed some other lost
and found pet websites but none of them appealed to
what I wanted.
As they say, the rest is history. HELPLOSTPET.COM
is in full operation and we hope our site helps in the
safe return of your pet.
